Busy, Busy, Busy

Okay, so we have been really busy. We moved a new senior missionary couple up to Sololá yesterday and that was a trip! We left the office at 9:30 in the morning and got back to our house at 8:30 at night. It was a very long trip, but a very cool couple and place.

I am pretty much preparing to become the senior secretary, because my companion Elder Long is pretty much out after this change. That will be pretty tricky because we have to move into a lot of new houses for all the new missionaries coming in. But today we are going to take some P-hours and go to the zoo. Things are always busy here. Next week we are going with Sister Baldwin to look for four new houses and then the week after we are moving into them. It is really odd how fast the time is in the office.

And about the mission blog: I have no idea because that is Sister Baldwin’s, we have nothing to do with that. But I hope all is well with you all and if you could send me an update about Katie that would be good.

Thanks, love you all.

Meeting an Apostle - Way cool!

Okay, so last Sunday Elder Neil L. Andersen (of the Quorum of Twelve) spoke to our stake as well as his wife and a member of the area presidency and his wife. It was a very cool meeting. Then yesterday we went to Sololá, which is up in the mountains, to have a zone conference with two zones and the office got lucky so we got to go. One of the things that is cool about Elder Anderson is that he knows French, Portuguese, Italian, and somewhat of Spanish. He knows Spanish grammar really well, but he has a hard time with the pronunciation. But he and his wife are really amazing in that they learned and worked so hard to speak in Spanish for everyone. I was able to shake his hand twice and he seems like a very loving and funny man.

But things are really interesting here. We are preparing to receive a lot of missionaries for this new mission that will take some of our mission and the office knows what parts, but we are not allowed to say anything but there are maps on the church news site. Things are always interesting here in the office. I did receive the Valentines package and thank you for the sweets. I hope you guys had a good time at the wedding and also in Hawaii.

Love you all, Elder Musick

Mission Changes

This news release might explain why Elder Musick has been so busy in the office preparing for so many new missionaries.

Changes and more to come

Here are the "more to come" photos ...

Okay, so I have been really busy, we just finished changes on Monday. And so Monday was super crazy and then on Tuesday the new kids came in and that was another long day. But in this last change we moved into six houses because we are recieving more missionaries to prepare for a new mission in Guatemala. The new mission will be announced this Saturday in the Church News and it will also have an effect on our mission. But we'll have to open more houses this next change and then the next one as well. So we will be very busy in this next couple of changes. But things are always interesting here in the office but I will try and keep you guys up-dated as much as I can. And I have some photos from Lake Atitlan so I hope you enjoy them.
